we're Canadian, ayy.

Day 11- Sunday was a day of leisure. it was pretty rainy in the morning, so we slept in.

we eventually got up and went into town for some lunch.
ever heard of Johnny Rockets? it's a diner-type place in the U.S.

in Dublin, they have an 'Eddie Rockets' on every corner. we went there for some cheap burgers haha

not Nearly as pretty as my other food pics, but totally necessary to include here.

after lunch i went back to the dorm and talked to my mom on the phone about our plans for when she comes to meet me here. ((SHOUTOUT to you, mom. can't wait til you get here!))

Sunday night we decided to go out again (we're in Dublin, we have to).

there are a bunch of American students in the dorms here doing other study abroad programs. we've met a BUNCH of the law school students (from DePaul and Dayton) and went out with a group of them.

group shot of the girls!!

and a pic of our my new favorite shot, called a baby Guinness.

(coffee liquor topped with Baileys)

Cheers, yall.

Day 12 - Monday was a Bank Holiday in Ireland, so we didn't have class (the campus buildings were closed).

this also meant that the buses were on limited schedules AND it was raining, so Hillary and i took this opportunity to get some laundry done.

Unfortunately, not all of the machines worked, so we ended up spending about 3 hours in the laundry room.

Fortunately, there were other people in there to entertain us.

i met a guy that had gone to Prague already and gave me his left over money along with tips on what to do there ((my aunt and i are going later this summer!!))

we met some Aggies that are here in the law school program (didn't talk to them long, ha)

AND we met our new best friend Roger.

we ended up getting the girls together and hanging out with Roger and his friends Monday night, but we had to go to bed early because Monday is our first site visit!!

those of you looking forward to hearing about the academics taking place on the trip will greatly enjoy Monday's post.

:)

footnote: usually the titles of my posts are inside jokes, but this one i'm going to explain haha
when we go out (in our large group), we tend be loud and just a bit obnoxious.

most ppl that we meet can't tell if our accent is American or Canadian, so in efforts to preserve the reputation of American girls everywhere, i proudly tell people that we are Canadian.

it worked quite well.....until we met a group of Canadian boys lol
